She's home! Shay Mitchell shared that she's so happy to be back in Vancouver after spending quite some time away. The Canadian gal even joked that being home with her parents reminds her of good old high school days.
The 33-year-old Pretty Little Liars star announced on Instagram last week that she arrived in her B.C. home.
According to IMDb, the actress was born in Mississauga, Ontario but moved to West Vancouver when she was 10 years old.
Mitchell attended Rockridge Secondary School and transferred to West Vancouver Secondary School where she eventually graduated.
"Quarantine for the next two weeks so taking a trip around the city via the camera roll for now. So happy to be back," Mitchell wrote in the caption that accompanied a set of photos featuring her in beautiful outdoor scenery.
The mom of one also posted a selfie of her lounging on the couch looking pretty comfy during her two-week quarantine.
"It’s just like high school, I’m laying on my parents couch, eating snacks made by mother dearest while my dad is on his fifth diaper change of the day. Atlas’s diaper that is 🤣 #freebabysitters," the caption reads.
During her home time, Mitchell posted an Instagram story showing her trying so hard to get her daughter to mimic her saying "mama". But it seems like the baby's mouth just wanted to say "dada" instead.
"COOL. @mattebabel," she captioned the clip.
Mitchell shares her eight-month-old daughter Atlas Noa with boyfriend Matte Babel, who she's been dating since 2017.
Atlas was born in October 2019 and shortly after her birth, the actress said that the first place she was planning to take her newborn on a trip was to visit her grandmother in Vancouver.
The You star also recently said that she's already teaching her infant about activism and the Black Lives Matter movement.
She said she thinks "there’s never an age where they are too young to have those discussions regardless if she can answer back or not."
Both Mitchell and 39-year-old Babel come from mixed heritage and have parents in interracial relationships.
