Right after the province recommended locals have sex through walls to prevent COVID-19 spread, adult website YouPorn offered B.C. $100,000 to drill holes across the province.
On Wednesday, July 22, YouPorn Vice President Charlie Hughes sent a letter to B.C. health minister Adrian Dix offering his company's support.
To help provide people with a safe option for engaging in sexual activity, we would like to offer the province of British Columbia a grant of $100K to support the building of glory holes across the province.
According to his letter, the company applauds B.C. for recommending the use of glory holes and agrees that sex "can be very important for mental, social and physical well-being."
Earlier, the B.C. Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC) went viral for recommending people use "glory holes" for sex — small holes in a wall or membrane used for penetrative or oral sex without the rest of the body touching.
The company wrote they'd like to help support the effort to "flatten the curve without forgoing sexual pleasure," and signed off with a cheeky line: "Hope to see you on the other side!"
