We also know who they trust the least.

The people have spoken! A new study revealed who Canadians trust the most — and the least — right now, during the pandemic.

The answer comes from the 2021 Proof Strategies CanTrust Index. The survey included 1,517 Canadians and took place on January 8, 2021.

According to the study, Canadians trust doctors and scientists the most while politicians and employers find themselves on the other side of the spectrum.

The report shows that 81% of Canadians trust doctors and 77% trust scientists.

Additionally, 64% of Canadians trust their friends and family while educators are trusted by 62%.

This is in major contrast to the 24% of Canadians who trust their employers and the only 18% who trust politicians right now.

"Canadians are telling us very clearly who they trust to get us through the pandemic, and the advice they want comes from labs not legislatures and medicine not management," Bruce MacLellan, President & CEO of Proof Strategies said.
