Saving Grace Animal Society in Alberta has recently rescued a blind dog and his "seeing eye cat."

The two have been together for their entire lives and while they'll be up for adoption soon, they only come as a package deal.

Their names are Spike and Max and they are both 8 years old.

"While we were out delivering supplies to assist folks during the cold snap, we had this duo surrendered into our care," wrote the Society.

Their previous owners felt an "indoor retirement home" would be the best option for the two.

Once they have their vet checks done, the pals will be posted for adoption as a duo.

Naturally, the comment section has already got some interest for potential new families.

If you're not ready for two new friends in your house, there are tons of other animals looking for their forever homes.
