According to The Weather Network, there will be a continued risk of "quick shots" of wintry weather, so if you were thinking of getting outdoors now that it's spring, you might want to keep an eye on the seven-day forecast.

Parts of Atlantic Canada will actually have a "white Easter" this year, but seasonal temperatures should return shortly after that.

Record-breaking warmth in Ontario and Quebec isn't expected to continue, but weather that is slightly above seasonal temperatures will still be much warmer than what the provinces have seen in recent years.

For the month of April as a whole, the warmest weather is expected to seen in the eastern Prairies and northwestern Ontario, while B.C. will see below-seasonal temperatures.
