Georgia is filled with great restaurants, small eateries and cafes, but usually, they're not high up in the clouds. Lookout Mountain in Georgia is a popular tourist attraction that boasts views of seven states from the top. What some visitors might not know is that there is a mountaintop restaurant where you can wine and dine with a view.

Cafe 7 on Lookout Mountain is located inside the Rock City Gardens and has incredible views from the Lover's Leap attraction.

When you buy tickets to explore the mountain and gardens, you'll gain access to the restaurant.

Many people visit this attraction to see the glorious waterfall and the skylines of Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee, Virginia, and Kentucky all in one spot.

It's a bit of a trek to get to the top, so grabbing a bite to eat at this one-of-a-kind restaurant might need to be added to your to-do list.

This is a full-service restaurant that puts its own twists on the classic Southern cuisine that's iconic to The Peach State.

The menu varies seasonally but expect dishes like barbeque platters and shrimp and grits as well as fried green tomatoes and sandwiches.

There's also a full wine list and various craft beers you can order to go with your delicious meal. Sipping wine with panoramic mountain views? It doesn't get much better than that.

This is a seasonal restaurant so it isn't open year-round. You'll be able to enjoy this spot through the spring, summer, and fall seasons.

Once January rolls around, Cafe 7 will only offer a counter-service until March before it opens back up to a full-service eatery in April through October.
