If you've been looking for the perfect spring activity, you'll want to visit a magical garden on Canada's West Coast.

The popular tourist attraction in B.C. has been named one of the most beautiful flower fields in the world and it's certainly worth a visit to see the stunning flower displays for yourself.

The Butchart Gardens is tucked away on Vancouver Island, a 90-minute ferry ride from Metro Vancouver's Tsawwassen terminal.

The B.C. garden was ranked fourth in a study done by UK-based hotel chain Premier Inn. For the study, researchers used eye-tracking technology to "analyze how eye-catching 48 flower fields around the world are when in full bloom."

The number one garden in the world was The Daisy Flower Field at Torres del Paine National Park in Chile.

However, if you don't want to make the trip to South America, this Canadian garden is worth the visit.

The Butchart Gardens opened over 100 years ago and has since become one of the busiest tourist attractions on Vancouver Island.

Visitors flock to the gardens year-round to see how the gardens change each season.

Spring welcomes over 300,000 bulbs that bloom into stunning flowers, according to the garden's website.

Springtime favourites include tulips, daffodils, magnolias and peonies.

There are several different gardens you can walk through during your visit, including a Japanese Garden, a Rose Garden, an Italian Garden and a Mediterranean Garden.

You'll want to make sure you have a camera or cellphone with you as there are a lot of incredible photo opportunities with all of the vibrant flowers.

You can stop by The Dining Room or The Blue Poppy Restaurant if you need a break during your visit. There's also a coffee shop and gelateria.

The Dining Room Restaurant is also open daily for Afternoon Tea.

No matter how you plan your day at The Butchart Gardens, your visit won't disappoint you!
