He's back! Ben Mulroney returned to Instagram after being away for weeks following wife Jessica Mulroney's white privilege scandal. The Canadian TV personality asked his followers to be kind in his new post.

Over a month after his last post on May 21, the dad of three returned to his account to share a black-and-white text post addressing his absence.

"After a much needed break, I’m back," Ben wrote. "There are myriad places online to vent, attack and hurl slurs. This will not be one of them. Please govern yourselves accordingly."

Ben followed that post with an Instagram story video of his Your Morning co-host, Lindsey Deluce.

Ben's return comes weeks after Jessica's "textbook white privilege" behaviour was exposed by Black blogger, Sasha Exeter

The mom of three threatened to sabotage Exeter's business and livelihood, and sent a private DM threatening a libel lawsuit after the video was posted.

Their feud began when the Toronto-based blogger posted a general call-to-action for fellow influencers to speak up about the Black Lives Matter movement, which Jessica interpreted as a blatant attack.

However, Jessica immediately suffered the repercussions of her behaviour.

The 40-year-old lost partnerships with Cityline, Hudson's Bay, and Good Morning America, and stepped down from the charity she co-founded.

Her wedding reality series I Do, Redo was cancelled by CTV and Bell Media.

Shortly after, Ben announced that he was leaving his role as anchor on etalk, but would remain co-host of Your Morning and be present at future events for etalk.

The 44-year-old shared in a video that he is immediately stepping away from his position in order "to create a space for a new perspective and a new voice."

He also said that he hopes his replacement is someone Black, Indigenous, or a person of colour that can help inspire change.

Exeter broke her Instagram silence last week with an emotional post about her daughter and has been posting since.

Jessica hasn't returned to Instagram after announcing on June 11 that she would be "stepping back from social media" in order to lend her microphone to Black voices.
