On Narcity Canada's Facebook page, we asked readers for the best places to live in Ontario. The post received over 200 comments, and this dreamy beach town was one of the recommended spots.

Port Stanley is a charming harbour village located on the shores of Lake Erie. It's brimming with quaint shops, beautiful trails and stunning sandy beaches.

One of the highlights of Port Stanley is the Main Beach, which is "one of the finest stretches of sandy beach on Lake Erie's north shore," according to the regional tourism organization.

You can spend your summer days basking in the sun, enjoying treats on the patios and filling up on ice cream cones.

According to a post on Port Stanley's Instagram page, moving to this town is a "fantastic idea." From friendly faces to a small town feel, shopping opportunities, year-round events and "the best restaurants around," it's easy to see why so many people are drawn to this lakeside gem.
