Lace up those sneakers! This Ontario trail was just named one of the 20 "happiest walks" in the world and it comes with some stunning views.

A recent study by walking holiday provider Inghams ranked world's "happiest walks" to see which trails make hikers smile the most.

The study looked at over 300 Instagram posts across 30 of the most popular walks and trails in the world. It used smile-recognition software to see which trails had the most smiles, generating a total happiness score.

Three Canadian hikes claimed a spot in the top 10, one of which is in Ontario.

The Bruce Trail came in at number 6 on this list with a happiness score of 95.69. The trail is Canada's oldest and longest marked footpath, with the main section stretching for over 550 miles.

Running along the Niagara Escarpment, the Bruce Trail features "cobble beaches, open meadows, waterfalls, rocky crevices, old growth forests, and awe-inspiring views," according to the website.

Some magical hikes along the Bruce include Lion's Head, where you can gaze over turquoise water, as well as the Bruce Peninsula, where you'll find tropical-like views and the iconic Grotto.

The trail also features many waterfalls such as Tiffany Falls and Smokey Hollow Falls.

The only other Canadian trails to make the list were the Appalachian Mountains in fifth place and the Canadian Rockies in eighth place.

The "happiest walk" in the world went to the South West Coast Path in England, which received a happiness score of 99.30.

If you're in need of a smile and some fresh air, it looks like Ontario's Bruce Trail is the place to be. Don't forget to check out the Trail Users' Code before heading out.
