Tucked away in a small town just outside of Calgary is a magical Christmas train ride that will make you feel like you're stepping into the Polar Express movie.

Hop on board the Polar Express train ride at Aspen Crossing and watch the starlit scenery pass you by, as you make your way to the "North Pole"

The experience goes all out with Christmassy decore, live actors, and off the the movie magic incorporated into the journey.

Aspen Crossing is about an hour away from Calgary, making it the perfect place to go for a little day trip away, to get into the festive mood.

To really make the experience immerseive people show up in their pajamas, just like in the movie. The Polar Express Train ride is about an hour long and with it you'll get your golden train ticket, a hot chocolate in a cute mug, and a silver bell.

Tickets are on sale now and the train journey runs Fridays to Sunday, from November 22 to December 24.

You can take your pick of train carts with different seating options, and prices vary depending on which. For a set of two tickets in November it costs $132.

If you want to get whisked away into the world of the Polar Express, this is the spot to go.
