Talk about whimsical! Canada’s most wishlisted Airbnb is located in British Columbia and it looks like it’s fallen straight from the pages of a fairytale story.
The vacation rental company confirmed to Narcity that the country’s most wishlisted Airbnb right now is Cob Cottage, located on Mayne Island.
The listing describes the property as a “one-of-a-kind earth house,” that has been hand-sculpted using local and sustainable natural materials.
It features a central living area with super unique cantilevered slab stairs that lead up to the cozy loft bedroom.
Despite the rustic-chic vibes, the listing promises wifi, a coffee maker, heating (in addition to the indoor fireplace) and even a hairdryer.
At the time of writing the property was rated 4.98 out of 5 stars by Airbnb reviewers, with 537 people rating the Mayne Island home.
It appears to be fully booked until at least January 2022, with a stay costing around $120 per night depending on the date of the enquiry.
With such an unusual and quirky design, a somewhat affordable nightly rate and hundreds of raving reviews, it’s not hard to see why so many people added this Canadian dwelling to their bucket list!
