She ended up somewhere nice, though! 🐻

Wild animals apparently don’t care for travel restrictions! Despite the Canada-U.S. border closure, one black bear cub was determined to pay a visit to B.C.

In an Instagram post shared on November 4, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) explained that the bear was travelling for “essential reasons” between Stewart, B.C. and Hyder, Alaska.

Although she didn’t have any travel documents, the furry critter apparently doesn’t care for the latest border rules as she made a “forceful attempt” to cross over.

While the fuzzy creature didn’t manage to get to her desired destination, she still ended up in a pretty nice spot.

According to CBSA officers, the bear was taken to B.C.’s Northern Lights Wildlife Society, where she will stay throughout the winter.

This isn't the first animal to try and flout the latest border restrictions, either!

Around two weeks earlier, the CBSA's Northern Ontario Region had a somewhat foxy-looking visitor.

The Canada-U.S. border has been closed to non-essential travel since March.
