Canada Is Planning To Have Every Canadian Vaccinated By The End Of 2021

Timelines are here!
Senior Writer

With preparations being made for the COVID-19 vaccine, Canada has a plan that would see every Canadian being immunized by the end of 2021.

The Public Health Agency of Canada has released a plan and there are a couple of timelines for the vaccine rollout that outline what will happen and when.

The goal is to have vaccinations start in December and continue through until the end of next year.

Before this year ends, the first vaccine doses will be administered to priority populations like healthcare workers.

It's believed that between December 2020 and March 2021, Canada will get enough shots to immunize three million people.

The Public Health Agency of Canada also said that in April of next year, vaccines will become available to all Canadians and not just those in priority populations.

Next, the plan's multiple timelines show plans to have everybody vaccinated against COVID-19 by the end of 2021.

On December 9, the first candidate was approved by Health Canada, and it happened here before it did in the U.S.
