You need to have graduated from a two-year program of study at a post-secondary institution with a specialization in computer science, IT, engineering, network security, cyber security or another field relevant to the position.

Any higher level of education, like a bachelor's degree, in a related field of study could be considered experience.

You could get hired if you don't have any experience but if you want to be in the higher salary range, one to two years of relevant experience.

While most work has to be done in the office, a hybrid approach — remote work and on-site work — is taken when possible.

Also, some positions require flexible work hours and rotational shifts in a 24/7 work environment.

The closing date for the IT jobs with CSIS is March 31, 2024.

You're being told to not discuss your application with anyone besides your partner or close family members, who need to be discreet as well.

If you apply, you must be eligible to receive an "Enhanced Top Secret" security clearance which involves a security interview, a polygraph and a background investigation, including credit and financial checks.
