McDonald's may be good after a drunken night out, but there are so many insanely delicious burger joints in ATL that can't be missed. You're probably better off ditching the fast food to make your way through the city's land of meaty, cheesy goodness. Some of the best burgers in Atlanta can actually be found in a gas station.

NFA Burger, which stands for "not fooling around," began as a pop-up and is now a new brick-and-mortar burger joint that opened in December 2019. The fairly new spot isn't exactly your conventional burger bar — it's actually hidden inside the Chevron off Chamblee Dunwoody Road.

Owner Billy Kramer actually has a popular Instagram account, billysburgers, where he documents all the burgers he eats during his travels. Since he's a burger fanatic, he decided to start making and selling his own, and like-minded foodies are lining up to try them.

The concept of gas station eateries may seem a bit strange at first, but "holes in the wall" often have some of the best food around. After all, Dave's Cheesesteaks had humble beginnings attached to a tiny gas station, and it has the most renowned cheesesteaks in the city.

As with the classic Philly sandwiches, NFA's burgers are loaded up with tons of meat patties and melty, gooey cheese.

You can get Billy's Classic with two patties, the Triple with three, or if you're starving and want the real deal, you can opt for the massive Quad with four patties stacked high.

All burgers are served with tons of melty American cheese, mustard and "sassy sauce" on a soft Martin's potato roll. More of a hotdog person? They've got your back with the all-beef Jersey dog.

Would it truly be a complete burger-eating experience if you didn't have fries to go with it? You can get seasoned fries or even tater tots loaded up with more of that sassy sauce.

Save room for dessert because they have "schmoops" (mini home-made cinnamon rolls).

Make sure you plan your visit because NFA is closed Monday and shuts down at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday.

We promise we are not the only ones drooling...
