A lucky Oilers fan is going to be swimming in bills come next week.

The team announced on Friday, August 21, that the Oilers 50/50 raffle that was supposed to be drawn on August 7 will take place "early to mid next week," according to a Facebook post.

With the jackpot being around $14.3 million, the winning fan will take half of that home.

This means that the ticket holder will get over $7.1 million.

Despite technical issues, it seems that the Edmonton Oilers' 50/50 draw is beating out the other 50/50 raffles by far. The team may be out of the NHL but at least one fan can look forward to something.
