Alberta's Municipal Affairs Minister, Tracy Allard, has reportedly tested positive for COVID-19 and as a result, Jason Kenney is in isolation.

CTV News has reported that Kenney has gone into isolation following this news on Wednesday, October 21.

Naricty has reached the office of Jason Kenney for comment and we will update this story when we receive a response.

The premier works closely with the minister, though he's reportedly showing no symptoms at this time.

Despite not showing any symptoms, the premier is currently being tested out of an abundance of caution.

According to The Edmonton Journal, a few other politicians are entering self-isolation after being in contact with Allard prior to her diagnosis.

Those people are Transportation Minister Ric McIver along with three MLAs for the Conservative Party: Angela Pitt, Peter Guthrie, and Nathan Neudorff.

Apparently, they are all symptom-free, as well.

Though, Allard is showing mild symptoms, says the Edmonton Journal, as the rest of her contacts are being notified.

CTV News reports that Alberta's top doctor, Dr. Deena Hinshaw, has been made aware of the situation and will be advised accordingly.
