Premier Doug Ford says he needs answers on when Ontario's COVID-19 vaccines are arriving, and he needs them soon. Speaking to reporters at a press conference on Monday, the Premier stated that he still doesn't know when the vaccines were coming, how many of them he was going to get, and what type of vaccines they were. Doug Ford "We can't find out at the last minute that we're getting vaccines tomorrow," Ford said. "We're just asking the federal government to just tell those three answers and we're good to go. "You can't give me a delivery date? No, it's unacceptable." Ford also told reporters that he had a meeting scheduled with the Pfizer CEO on Monday afternoon, in which he was planning on directly asking about when a vaccine was coming. "I'm going to ask him when we can expect our fair share," Ford said. "I need a date." In early November, Pfizer announced that their vaccine had a 90% effectiveness in trial stages when it comes to preventing COVID-19. But Justin Trudeau who just this week announced his vaccine distribution task force — said Canadians must remain cautious and keep following the COVID-19 restrictions.
