Ontario Just Hit Nearly 2,300 New COVID-19 Cases For The First Time Ever

Once again,are hitting new milestones.
Of the new cases, there are 711 in Toronto, 586 in Peel, 185 in Windsor-Essex, and 154 in York Region. Twenty new deaths were also reported.
These numbers come from over 39,600 processed tests, which is below the province's daily goal of 50,000.
Minister Elliott noted that this increase could be due to Public Health Ontario changing its data extraction methods.
"[Public Health] updated their data extraction time to 1 p.m. (from 10:30 a.m.), resulting in a one-time increase in case counts and some variations in results," she wrote on Twitter.
According to recent modelling, Ontario could seeif growth rates aren't intercepted.

To date, the province is reporting 143,396 cases of COVID-19.
