Ryan Reynolds & Blake Lively Just Donated $500K To Support At-Risk Canadians
They say it was "an investment in compassion and empathy."
Just when you thoughtcouldn’t get any more lovable, they’ve made yet another incredibly kind donation.
On November 25, CTV News reported that the famous pair had donated half a million dollars to two Canadian organizations supporting at-risk and homeless youth in Canada.
In a statement, Reynolds said, "The young people who pass through the doors of Covenant House more often than not have a story marked by extraordinary trauma.”

The organization confirmed that 2020 has been a tough year for many young people, with “new and evolving challenges” thanks to the pandemic.
However, the Deadpool star went on to add, “They are so much more than that trauma. They have so much to offer the world.”
He went on to say that the money wasn’t a donation, but instead “an investment in compassion and empathy.”
It’s not the first timehave been seriously generous during the COVID-19 pandemic.
