People Are Leaving The Republican Party Following Violence At Capitol Building
Politicians and citizens alike are calling it quits.

Violent protesters stormed the United States Capitol Building Wednesday, causing destruction and the evacuation of all House and Senate members.
Shortly following the incident, many Republicans took to social media to say they are leaving the party immediately.

Many were angered by the violence that ensued Wednesday, causing those who once sided with the president to call it quits.
Some were even former politicians.
While others were just average citizens who could not believe what they had witnessed.
Many Republican leaders, including Texas Senator Ted Cruz, tweeted their frustrations about the situation, asking everyone to come together, but it was not enough to keep some people in the Grand Ol’ Party (GOP).
It is not certain whether or not these people will be joining the Democratic party or simply registering as Independents.
