IKEA Canada Is Recalling Dishes Because There's A Risk Of 'Breakage & Burns'

Full refunds are available.

Senior Writer

An IKEA Canada recall has been issued for a collection of dishes and the company is offering full refunds to customers.

In a statement released on May 18, the retailer said there have been reports of HEROISK and TALRIKA dishes breaking, which creates a potential burn risk depending on what is inside the mugs, plates and bowls when they break.

IKEA Canada

IKEA Canada said that anyone who owns HEROISK or TALRIKA dishes should stop using them immediately and contact the company for a full refund.

Stores that are closed because of public health restrictions aren't accepting returns but customers can wait until their local store opens again to visit the Returns & Exchanges department to get a full refund.

If you have these items and want to return them, proof of purchase such as a receipt isn't required and there's no deadline for returns in place.
