Jagmeet Singh's Reaction To Joe Biden's Big Win Was Pure Class

After calling for U.S. citizens to vote Donald Trump out, Jagmeet Singh reacted to the U.S. election projected win for Joe Biden.

The NDP leader took to Twitter to congratulate the president-elect after multiple networks projected Biden winning the election.

Singh also quoted former NDP leader Jack Layton.

He said that "as the Trump Presidency comes to an end I'm reminded of Jack's final words."

"Love is better than anger. Hope is better than fear. Optimism is better than despair. So let us be loving, hopeful & optimistic. And we’ll change the world," Singh quoted.

Before election day, the prime minister wouldn't comment on the race but did note that his government was preparing for any result.

Singh didn't take the same route and actually tweeted that Americans should vote out Trump.

He also said that he hopes Trump loses the election which "would be better for the world."

Once the former U.S. vice president was called the winner of the election, Trudeau did congratulate Biden along with Kamala Harris.
