If you’ve ever wondered how rich Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos actually is — this might give you some idea!

A new report from charitable organization Oxfam has revealed how much money Bezos could give each of Amazon’s 876,000 employees and still be as rich as he was pre-pandemic.

According to Oxfam’s research, he could give each employee a bonus of $105,000.

"Invested over 25 years at 6% interest rate this bonus would increase to $450,000 in retirement savings for each employee," explains the organization.

Bezos, who is the founder and owner of Amazon, is believed to be the richest person on Earth with a net worth of around $200 billion.

Between March and August 2020, he increased his wealth by a whopping $92 billion.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk added $100.3 billion to his net worth in 2020 alone, overtaking Bill Gates as the world’s second-richest person.

While the world’s billionaires have got richer during the global COVID-19 pandemic, Oxfam says it could take over a decade for those living in poverty to return to their pre-pandemic financial position.
