Joe Biden's Dog Just Got 'InDOGurated' & It Was The Sweetest Thing Ever (PHOTO)

The dog was rescued from a shelter!
Managing Editor, Canada

Talk about wholesome! Joe Biden’s dog just got “indogurated” and the photo of the soon-to-be president and his pup is pretty cute indeed.

On Sunday, January 17, the Delaware Humane Association (DHA) and Pumpkin Pet Insurance hosted America’s first “indoguration” ceremony to celebrate Major, the Biden family’s rescue dog.

Major, who is a German Shepherd, was rescued from the DHA in 2018.

He is set to become the first-ever former shelter dog to live at the White House.

The event was held online and was open to anybody who made a $10 donation to the animal organization.

According to reports, Americans from across the country tuned in to watch the ceremony, which raised over $100,000 for the non-profit.

The proceedings included videos of current DHA animals looking for forever homes, as well as music performances and a video clip from the day Biden officially adopted Major.

The famous pup will be joined at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. by Champ, another German Shepherd, who has been part of the Biden family since 2008.

He’s not the only political pup, either. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has multiple pets, including a dog, although their furry family members are seldom seen by the public!
