The first delivery will be approximately 300,000 doses of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, which is a single-dose vaccine.

During the following week, those doses will be distributed to provinces and territories and will arrive at the beginning of May.

In the U.S., the use of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine was paused after a recommendation from the CDC and FDA due to a possible link between the vaccine and rare cases of blood clots.
