This Sky Bridge In Tennessee Is Hauntingly Beautiful (VIDEO)

The park is also getting a new mountainside boardwalk this fall!

Temperatures are steadily dropping outside and the Southern states could be whipping out the sweaters for that cooler weather in the mornings. It's a welcome sign that autumn is on its way and the spooky season is right around the corner. To really get you in the Halloween mood, Gatlinburg SkyBridge put out this eerie video over the weekend and it looks like a scene straight out of the horror movie Silent Hill.

The Gatlinburg SkyLift Park is a popular tourist destination in the Volunteer State and for good reason. It has a Skybridge that is terrifyingly beautiful, but it might not be for those afraid of heights since you'll have to ride a chairlift to the top.

This suspension bridge will get your blood pumping, but will also give you some of the most incredible panoramic views of the Great Smoky Mountains.

Stretching 680 feet across and resting at 150 feet high at the center, this trek isn't for the faint of heart. There's also a part of the bridge that has about 30 feet of glass panels on the floor where you can see all the way down into the valley below. Has your stomach dropped yet?

If that isn't scary enough, try crossing it in the wee morning hours when the bridge is covered in mountain mist and you can't see anything except for a few feet in front of you — feeling almost as if you're walking a sky-high road that leads into the horrors that await at Silent Hill.

Aside from the spookiness of the bridge during this time of year, there's more exciting news this spot has announced.

SkyLift Park is actually expanding and adding a huge boardwalk that's set to open in the fall of 2020, though no official date has been announced yet.

According to the official website, the SkyTrail will be a scenic walkway that connects the sides of the SkyBridge with the slopes of Crockett Mountain.

For one-day access to the entire park, the price ranges from $22.95 to $24.95, depending on which day you visit. This gives you access to the SkyLift, SkyDeck, and SkyBridge.

From September to December you can make your visit from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. — and visiting at night will give you a totally unique and fun experience.

This is a great fall time adventure and the most ideal way to see the Smoky Mountains without having to hike miles and miles.

Gatlinburg SkyPark
