Tremblant Is Back For Summer & You Can Enjoy Breathtaking Views From The Panoramic Gondola

The mountains are calling.
Senior Writer

Who's up for some travel? Mont Tremblant open for the summer now and there are so many activities and things to do. You can ride the panoramic gondola up the mountain and take in the amazing view.

Over the last couple of weeks, a bunch of activities and services have reopened at the tourist destination with public health measures in place.

Now, Mont Tremblant is officially open for the summer.

You can take a trip up the mountain on the panoramic gondola starting on June 27 and take in the stunning view.

Access to the beach reopens a day after that.

The luge run starts back up again on July 4 and the illuminated night walk starts on July 17.

There are even more things to do up on the hills or in the village below like hiking, golf, mini putt, tennis, cycling and boating.

Down there, there are a bunch of boutiques to choose from if you want to shop.

Restaurants are offering takeout or sit down dining both indoors and outdoors.

Patios are being reconfigured so physical distancing can be kept up while also allowing everyone to enjoy the summer weather.

All hotels will open on June 26 except for Fairmont Tremblant which opens on Canada Day.

There's even a 30% off discount if you book your trip 10 days beforehand and stay for four or more nights.

There are other measures in place to ensure visitors' safety. At shops and restaurants in the village, you can only pay by card. No cash is allowed.

On hikes, if you cross paths with other hikers, whoever is going up the mountain has priority to move through.

You're also being asked to turn your back to any other hikers if you can't keep a two-metre distance.

Only members of the same family or group can ride on the gondola together.

It will also be moving at a slower speed for safety.

Masks haven't been made mandatory at Mont Tremblant but they are recommended for everyone.

The start of the summer season at this popular spot comes as provinces move along through their reopening plans and people get on the move.

Ottawa has introduced a savings passport to encourage people to become tourists in their own city.

International destinations have also started to let in tourists once again and there are even flight sales to those places and domestic spots too.
