NAV Canada currently has an open job posting for Air Traffic Controllers, specifically Area and Tower Controllers.

Area Controllers work out of the seven Area Control Centres that are in Vancouver (Surrey), Edmonton (Leduc), Winnipeg, Toronto (Mississauga), Montreal (Dorval), Moncton (Riverview), and Gander.

Tower Controllers are airport jobs because the positions are based at one of 42 airports in Canada.

Also, you need to be prepared to undergo medical, security, and drug testing, and be willing to relocate to any Area Control Centre in Canada for training.

You must have verbal communication skills, memorization skills, problem-solving and decision-making abilities, teamwork skills, and multi-tasking abilities.

Area Controllers have to complete a three-phased paid training that takes 20 to 27 months and offers $54,710 to $57,259.
