An Elderly Asian Woman Was Attacked In NYC & Witnesses Did Nothing About It
An Asian woman was attacked in front of a New York City building Monday morning, but witnesses failed to help her as they watched the incident unfold.

The woman, 65, was on her way to church when a stranger reportedly kicked her down and stomped on her head while making anti-Asian statements, according to the New York Police Department (NYPD) in a Facebook post that includes a graphic video of the incident.

The surveillance video of the incident shows building staff watching the incident unfold but failing to assist the woman, and even closing the door as the suspect, who remains at large, fled the scene.
These workers have all now been suspended by the Brodsky Organization, the building's management company, pending a further investigation.
The New York Post reported that the woman suffered a fractured pelvis and was taken to a local hospital where she is said to be in stable condition. The NYPD is offering up to $2500 for information regarding the assault.
