BC Warns Flights To YVR From The UK & Dallas Had Confirmed COVID-19 Cases On Board
There were 3 international flights in total.
The government just updated their flight exposures list and even more COVID-19 cases on Vancouver flights were identified — with many from outside Canada.
On Saturday, July 25, the BC Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC) announced that four more flights had confirmed who COVID-19 cases, including planes from Dallas, Seattle, and London.
Travel outside of Canada is not recommended at this time.
They are: Delta 3569 from Vancouver to Seattle on Friday, July 10, American Airlines 1415 from Dallas to Vancouver on Saturday, July 11, Air Canada 214 from Vancouver to Calgary on Sunday, July 12, and Air Canada 855 from London to Vancouver on Friday, July 17.
According to the BCCDC, the COVID-19 cases on AC214 and AC855 had exposures in the rows 25-31 and 26-32, respectively; "passengers seated in these rows should be considered to be at higher risk" due to proximity.
Earlier, the BCCDC stopped telling people directly if their flight had an exposure — passengers now have to check the official site for the information.
