If you've been to a Superstore in Metro Vancouver recently, you might want to watch for symptoms.

According to a notice posted on the Loblaw Companies Ltd. site on Saturday, July 25, an employee at a Superstore location on 104th Avenue In Surrey tested positive for COVID-19.

The last day the team member worked was on July 20.

In statements to the Vancouver Sun and CTV News, the company said their store had closed overnight for sanitation and has since reopened.

The outlets report that the company is working with public health teams to prevent transmission and is stepping up their safety protocols.

This isn't the only case of a Superstore exposed to COVID-19; in a notice from Monday, July 27, the company informed the public that a Calgary location also had staff test positive.
