This is really not something you see every day, and thank goodness. On Monday afternoon, August 17, Hamilton Police responded to reports of a young boy biking on Highway 403.

It turned out that the boy, who was headed eastbound down the 403 near Hamilton, was only six years old.

There's no indication at this point of how the young child ended up on such a busy highway. He was intercepted by police within seven minutes after officers received several calls.

The child didn't suffer any injuries and was returned home safely.

Next time, let's hope he goes to the park instead!
