Over the course of several weeks, the Florida Coast Guard has seized a mountain of drugs worth an estimated $216 million through September.

The weekend saw an offloading of 12,100 pounds of cocaine and 5,759 pounds of marijuana in Ft. Lauderdale.

Fox 35 reported that the haul was removed from a boat in Port Everglades by the Coast Guard.

The veritable mountain was not seized all at once, however, and reportedly spanned 12 separate cases.

They involved two Coast Guard vessels, three U.S. Navy vessels, and two British Royal Navy vessels in the Eastern Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea.
