Ontario is currently seeing a recent uptick in positive cases, and the 6ix seems to have certain troubled areas. Toronto's Waterfront new COVID-19 cases are currently more than the rest of the city. The neighbourhood has reported 55 new cases in the past 21 days.
According to the City of Toronto, there are currently 17,028 cases of COVID-19 in the city.
Out of those, 15,089 have recovered, with 1,178 resulting in death.

Some of the worst areas overall include Glenfield-Jane Heights with 546 cases and West Humber-Clairville with 539.
However, the most recent area to be hit by outbreaks is Toronto's Waterfront with 55 new cases in the past 21 days. This marks the most new cases recorded in the entire city.
Some other higher reported areas from August 26 to September 15 include Kingsview Village with 34 cases and West Humber with 28.
In total, Toronto's Waterfront has 269 confirmed cases overall, which is less than some other areas around the city.
Over the last few weeks, an increasing number of new COVID-19 cases were contracted by people under the age of 40.
Those living in the Waterfront community between the ages of 25 and 54 make up over 60% of the neighbourhood's population, according to City data.
Recently, Doug Ford has slashed gathering sizes in Toronto in an attempt to stop large gatherings that contribute to the spread of COVID-19.
On Thursday it was announced that the city's gathering limit would be just 10 people indoors and 25 outdoors.
"We can't afford to let a few rule-breakers reverse all the hard work the people of Ontario have made the past few months. It's just not fair," Ford stated.
As the number of cases across the province continues to rise, John Tory is even urging residents to not get married at this time.
