The funds will be paid directly to your landlord, mortgage company, or utility company.

While the total amount you could receive is $3000, your exact payout will depend on the balance due for rent, mortgage, or utilities. Only one application can be submitted per household.

To be eligible, you’ll have to be a resident, pay rent, or own a home in Lake County, have lost a job or had work hours reduced due to COVID-19, as well as be a U.S. citizen who falls within maximum income guidelines per household size. Applicants can expect a follow-up email about their applications.

The program aims to help 400 households but will be returned to the U.S. Department of Treasury if not allocated by December 30, 2020.
