It's shark week, and lovers of this predator of the deep may be stoked to find out that they'll be able to cage dive with sharks at The Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta next year.

The experience is currently set to debut on January 1st of 2021, following the unveiling of The Aquarium's new SHARKS! Predators of the Deep exhibit this fall — a 185-foot, 1.2 million-gallon, shark gallery that will feature six different shark species.

All cage divers must be at least 5-feet tall, weigh less than or equal to 300 pounds, and have a ticket to participate.

The experience is ideal for those 18 and up, though those who are 15 or younger will also be able to enjoy the underwater world with an accompanying adult with the signing of a liability waiver from a parent or court-appointed legal guardian for those 17 and under.

Your dive with the sharks will cost $233.95 plus tax on top of general admission, or $189.95 plus tax for Georgia Aquarium Annual Pass Members, and will include all gear needed for your dive and a souvenir photo.
