Ontario's 1 km mountain coaster winds through a fall dreamland with views of a quaint village
You can fly through a magical autumn forest.

A village in Ontario. Right: Ontario's first mountain coaster.
Fall is in the air, and soon, the province will be blanketed in beautiful shades of red and gold. If you're looking for a unique way to take in the foliage this season, you'll want to plan a road trip to this Ontario attraction.
Nestled among forested hills, a sparkling river, and a charming autumn village, it will make you feel like you've fallen into a fall postcard.
The Ridge Runner Mountain Coaster, located at Blue Mountain, is an exciting year-round attraction that takes you speeding down a mountain.
Ontario's first mountain coaster of its kind, it winds for a full kilometre through trees, over streams, and past scenic hiking paths, giving riders sweeping views of the Niagara Escarpment and the village below.
You're in the driver's seat—literally. The coaster can reach speeds of up to 42 km/h, but you control just how fast you want to go. Along the track, you'll experience corkscrew turns, quick drops and lookout points surrounded by stunning fall leaves.
The ride up to the top of the mountain is a slow and more relaxing experience that takes you under a vibrant tunnel of fall foliage.
While the Ridge Runner operates all year, fall is an especially beautiful time to experience the attraction. You can race through a canopy of red and gold foliage, with the cozy village below adding a storybook touch.
Prices start at $41 per person for the Full-Access Ticket. The ticket includes access to a range of attractions around the village, including scenic gondola rides that take you over the treetops and a zip line through the foliage.
If you're up for a thrill this fall, this magical mountain coaster ride is worth checking out.
