Parts of Ontario are in for some seriously summer-like temperatures later this week, but it's not time to put away the long sleeves just as yet.

According to The Weather Network, a "massive temperature warm-up" is coming to the province — for now.

"Atmospheric fortunes will turn on a dime over the next few days as a warmer pattern builds over the Great Lakes," says TWN. "Widespread, double-digit high temperatures are likely by the middle of the week. Enjoy it while it lasts, though, as a reality check is barrelling toward us to end the month of March."

By Wednesday, Toronto is expected to feel like 17 C, while those around the Windsor area seeing similar temps and potentially even approaching 20 C. Towards Ottawa, temperatures will hover around 10 C

Given that there was snow in some of those areas over the weekend, the flip to spring and summer-like temperatures is being described by the agency as a "weather whiplash."

"Enjoy the warmer temperatures while they’re around," warns TWN. "A much colder pattern is expected to develop around the official first day of spring, continuing through the end of March and into early April."

So don't put away your jackets just as yet, folks!
