An Enchanting Hot Air Balloon Festival Is Happening Near Ottawa This Summer

Get ready to see glowing balloons illuminate the sky. There is a hot air balloon festival near Ottawa happening this summer.

The highly anticipated FMG is the biggest festival in the Outaouais and will be happening at La Baie Park from Thursday, September 2 to Monday, September 6. Yay!

For the 34th edition of the event, you can look forward to seeing giant balloons in adorable shapes like a unicorn, raccoon, owl, mouse, cat and deer.

Or you can take to the sky and book a ride in one of the balloons to enjoy a birds-eye view.

On the evenings of September 2 to 5, things get extra magical, as you'll be able to watch glowing hot air balloons and dazzling firework shows.

Plus there will be incredible concerts by Canadian musicians like Cœur de Pirate.

This year, you'll need to pre-purchase your admission to attend, and there will be a limited number of free tickets on September 6.
