Another Federal Party Leader Just Tested Positive For COVID-19

2 major politicians are out with COVID-19.

For the second time this week, a federal party leader has tested positive. Erin O'Toole's COVID-19 results are in and the Conservative frontman officially contracted the virus. 

In a statement on Friday night, the party revealed O'Toole had COVID-19 but that his family's tests came back negative.

He is very relieved that his wife and children have tested negative. O'Toole remains in self-isolation and is feeling well

The politician has been in isolation since Wednesday when he learned that a member of his staff who he'd been travelling with tested positive for the virus. 

He is the second leader of a federal party to contract COVID-19. Yesterday, Bloc Quebecois's Yves-François Blanchet revealed that he also has the disease and is self-isolating.  

Both leaders are said to be in good health.
