Here's where to head if you're looking for a dreamy spot to spend some time with your partner.

Montreal, specifically the historic neighbourhood of Old Montreal, was the most-liked city in Canada for romance.

Known for its European vibes and historic streets, the area will whisk you back in time and it makes for an idyllic weekend getaway year-round.

You'll want to grab a coffee from Crew Collective Café, named Montreal's "most romantic café" by Time Out Canada. Located inside a heritage building that once served as the Royal Bank of Canada, this spot lets you sip your drinks amidst opulence and glamour.

You can also explore landmarks like the famed Notre Dame Basilica, Saint Paul Street, Bonsecours Market and Montreal City Hall.

Other highlights include the charming local shops that line the streets and the many restaurants and bakeries where you can enjoy candlelit meals or cozy coffee chats.
