You can make up to $33 an hour with these positions.

Parks Canada is the federal agency that manages national parks, national marine conservation areas, and national historic sites.

You can find positions in B.C., Alberta, Ontario, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.

Salary: $30.66 to $33.28 an hour

Location: Canadian Rockies Hot Springs in Banff National Park

Who Should Apply: You must have successfully completed high school if over 18 years old to get this job.

Also, you need a valid Canadian National Lifeguard Service (NLS) Certification, and a CPR "Basic Rescuer" or "C" level certification.

It's required that you have one of the following:

  • Aquatic Emergency Care
  • Standard First Aid
  • International Red Cross First Aid
  • International St John's Ambulance First Aid
  • Basic First Aid

You will have to obtain Oxygen Therapy Certification within three months of employment.
