The Coronavirus pandemic has followed us into 2021, and many across the world continue to struggle.

After many heated debates, President Donald Trump signed a second stimulus package that will send $600 directly into American's pockets, but some are deciding to do some good with the money.

$259,196 Donated to neighbors and local organizations.

An organization known as Pledge My Check is allowing those who are currently financially stable to pledge their checks to a good cause.

The website was set up by volunteers who wanted a space for people to get inspired to help their neighbors who have been hit hard by the Coronavirus pandemic.

If you'd like to make a pledge, you simply put your first and last name, the amount you'd like to donate, who you are donating to, and then send the money directly to the person or organization you'd like to help out.

About a week after you make your pledge, you will begin receiving emails from volunteers at the website asking if you have fulfilled your donation.

As of January 14, just two weeks after the second stimulus checks began being sent out, 411 people across 32 states have pledged to donate nearly $260,000 to various individuals and communities.
