You Can Get Magical 'Harry Potter' Potions At This Spot In Scottsdale
You don't have to be a wizard to get a taste of magic. Sweetdee's Bakeshop in Scottsdale is celebrating all things Harry Potter with magical-themed sweet treats. You can preorder a kit for home or snag some epic items in store for a limited time.
This year, Sweetdee's is rolling out all of the stops to celebrate your favorite wizard, Harry!
Now through August 1, you can preorder a variety of at-home kits for all of your muggle needs.
With items like a $48 Hogwart's Acceptance Package and a $39 Honeyduke's Sweets Shop Kit, there's a variety to choose from.
If you're on a budget, you can still get a quick fix of sorcery with an $11 Beverage Kit. It comes with your choice of a house-made syrup, a recipe card, and a little goodie to pair it with.
The Love Potion syrup is perfectly pink and comes with bubblegum pieces too.
It won't make someone fall in love with you, but it "gives the drinker a powerful obsession and infatuation with the giver of the potion." Buyer beware, it sounds addicting!
Once you place your order online, you will have four pick-up dates to choose from at various times: July 23, July 25, July 30, and August 1.
Starting on July 21, the bakery will also offer drinks and sweet treats until August 1, if you want to cause a little "Mischief Managed" on a walk-in basis.
You can expect "potions" (aka drinks in the muggle world) like liquid luck and butterbeer served cold with a marshmallow foam, uh yum.
During this limited time, a platform 9 3/4 photo op will be available, and you'll even get your very own Hogwart's Express ticket!
It's totally okay if you order more than one sweet treat. You'll just have to solemnly swear that you're not up to no good.
