According to the Government of Canada, jobs are available in several provinces including Alberta, B.C, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Quebec and Saskatchewan.

Although the job specifics are not outlined in the posting, Public Safety Canada does go into great detail about the work they do as an organization. 

They are responsible for coordinating all federal departments and agencies that lead national security in Canada.

They explain the work they do as "an integrated approach to emergency management, law enforcement, corrections, crime prevention and national and border security."

To be considered for the opportunity to join their team, applicants need to have a high school diploma or a mix of education, training or experience.

Successful candidates will need experience with "applying policies and procedures" and in "providing program support or coordination services."

Veterans and Canadian citizens will be given preference, according to the job listing.
