Rogers Is Virtually Hiring 350 Jobs In BC With Almost No Experience Needed

Applications are open now. 🎉

New opportunities are coming to the province, and just in time, too. Rogers is hiring in B.C. and there are so many new jobs that need filling. What's more, the process is all being done virtually so you can go through the hiring and training from your own home.

According to a release from the company, they just started a new customer service centre in Kelowna and will need 350 workers to help staff it. They'll begin online training in late summer, with the work starting in fall.

The jobs, which you can find on their site, include customer solution specialists, team managers, senior managers, and supporting roles in human resources and IT for both Rogers and Fido.

Customer solution specialists will be in charge of working with "one million Rogers and Fido customer interactions each year" according to the company.

Everyone will start work from home until the new centre in Kelowna has finished construction and can be opened safely with all the regulations in place for social distancing and sanitation.

"We are excited to tap into the exceptional talent in the Okanagan region," said Rick Sellers, president of the B.C. region of Rogers Communications.

If you're an outgoing person who loves to solve problems and help others out, their customer solution specialist position might just be the one for you.

Anyone who's familiar with multiple computer systems, has great communication skills, is able to think on their feet, and has a flexible schedule is welcome to apply. While they didn't post the pay rate, it does start with health benefits from day one.

The start date for the position is Monday, August 17.

Rogers was previously named one of Canada's top employers for young people in 2020, scoring A+ in both community involvement and the physical workplace. They got a B- in terms of vacation and personal time off.

As the province starts opening up and lifting restrictions, tons of people are ready to get working and making money again.

This is great timing for anyone looking for a fresh start and hit the ground running this fall.
