If you want a place to let your worries float away, get ready for this adventure. The Provo River in Utah is the perfect place to make your cares drift away while you glide down the rapids. You can even grab a tandem float and double up with your BFF.
Nothing says warm weather like a good old fashioned river day.
You can spend up to two hours drifting along this scenic stretch of rushing water, which will guide you down rapids and past lush greenery.
If you want to stock up on all your tubing supplies in one spot, High Country Adventure offers rentals and transportation.
You can rent a single tube for only $25, or double up with your partner in crime and snag a tandem for $50.
Included in the price, you'll get the tube, a "personal floatation device" (life jacket), and access to the shuttle.
You can also stock up on extras like wet suits, water boots, or a tube for a personal use cooler so you can pack all of the snacks to enjoy on the river.
The shop offers excursions and rentals from May - September.
You can catch a shuttle down to the launch point every hour beginning at 10 a.m., and the last shuttle runs at 4 p.m.
Tubing the river requires you to have strong swimming skills and the ability to navigate the rafts. If you're sharing, that's twice the power and half the work!
High Country's website also recommends that you bring waterproof or "light" shoes, sunscreen, and a top with long sleeves to prevent discomfort.
Call your BFF or your S/O and tell them to get ready for a day of floating your cares away.
