163 Steps to the top.

Though most of the city is often filled with sightseers, this neighborhood has few tourist attractions, so the staircase is a hidden gem

Those who find the staircase and climb the 163 steps to the top will be rewarded with sweeping views of the City by the Bay.

The artists created a sea to stars themed mosaic flowing from the bottom to the top of the staircase.

At the base of the steps, the tiles are designed to look like the sea, with blue hues and a collage of sea life.

As you ascend to the top, you'll go from "sea level" to the high above the city where you'll find a golden mosaic sun and starry skies.

The stairs are also surrounded by a lush garden with succulents and native plants that attract beautiful Green Hairstreak butterflies — the perfect photo op.
